The dominant practice management platform in Canadian allied health. We support identity, single sign-on where available, network configuration, and the workstations and tablets practitioners actually use it from.
Allied Health IT · Vancouver, BC
Physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, and kinesiology clinics in Vancouver tend to run multidisciplinary, with anywhere from three to twenty practitioners, many of them contractors rather than employees, booked through cloud software rather than an on-premise server. That setup is convenient day to day, but it quietly spreads risk: a contractor charting patients on a personal laptop, a shared practice-software login that makes it impossible to say who actually opened a given record, or a front-desk PC that is the only device anyone bothers to manage while every practitioner laptop goes untouched. Hexafusion supports Lower Mainland allied health clinics with contractor-aware infrastructure, 15-minute ticket response, and engineers who understand how a multidisciplinary clinic actually runs.
The dominant practice management platform in Canadian allied health. We support identity, single sign-on where available, network configuration, and the workstations and tablets practitioners actually use it from.
Cloud practice management alternatives common across massage, physiotherapy, and multidisciplinary clinics. Same approach: network, identity, and workstation support around a vendor-hosted platform.
Direct billing to extended health insurers through the free web portal or practice software integration. We configure and monitor the network and workstation setup it depends on.
Browser and workstation configuration for direct billing portals, with troubleshooting for failures that trace back to infrastructure rather than the portal itself.
Connectivity and workstation support for injury-care billing through ICBC and WorkSafeBC, where submission uptime directly affects cash flow.
Most of these units are standalone, but where a chiropractic clinic runs digital X-ray on site, we configure the imaging workstation and storage the way we do for any clinic handling diagnostic images.
Multidisciplinary clinics are usually built around contractor practitioners rather than employees, and contractors show up with their own laptops and phones. That is normal for the business model, but it means a contractor's personal device charting patient notes is now part of your clinic's privacy obligations whether anyone wrote that down or not. We help clinics set a minimum device standard for anyone charting patient data, whether contractor-owned or clinic-owned, enforce multi-factor authentication on every practice-software login, and move away from a shared login that several practitioners use interchangeably, which makes it impossible to say who actually accessed a given chart.
BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) governs how a private allied health clinic collects, uses, and discloses patient information. Physical therapists follow the records practice standard set by the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Chiropractors and registered massage therapists follow the standard set by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). The Health Professions and Occupations Act came into force April 1, 2026, and reorganized how these professions are regulated in BC. This is general information, not legal advice.
We start with an AI readiness assessment that looks at where a multidisciplinary clinic's booking, documentation, and billing workflow could genuinely benefit from AI tools, accounting for the mix of employed and contractor practitioners. We then set up Copilot and other approved AI tools securely inside your Microsoft 365 tenant, configure data protection so patient information cannot leak into a public AI model, and train both employed staff and contractor practitioners on what is and is not appropriate to put into an AI tool. For clinics ready to go further, we build custom assistants, including our own AI phone assistant for after-hours or overflow call handling across multiple disciplines.
Most multidisciplinary allied health clinics land on our Managed plan: unlimited remote help desk during business hours (subject to our Fair Use Policy), onboarding and offboarding that accommodates frequent contractor turnover, and the identity and backup controls a cloud-first practice needs. Clinics with digital X-ray, multiple locations, or heightened compliance attention often move up to Secure, which adds onsite support and managed detection and response. Onsite support is included only on Secure and Enterprise; after-hours response and quarterly reviews are Enterprise-only. See plans for full details.
Do you support Jane, ClinicSense, Noterro, Practice Perfect, and Juvonno?
Yes. Most of these platforms are cloud-hosted, so our work is network, identity, single sign-on, and workstation configuration rather than server management. Application bugs escalate to the vendor.
Our practitioners are mostly contractors on their own laptops. Can you help with that?
Yes. Contractor-owned devices are the norm in multidisciplinary clinics and they raise real security questions, since a contractor's personal laptop charting patient data is now part of your clinic's privacy obligations. We help you set minimum device standards, enforce multi-factor authentication on shared platforms, and separate individual logins from shared ones.
Do you handle TELUS Health eClaims, ICBC, and WorkSafeBC billing connectivity?
Yes. We configure the network and workstation setup these direct billing and insurer connections require and troubleshoot submission failures that trace back to infrastructure rather than the practice software itself.
We have practitioners sharing a single Jane login. Is that a problem?
It is worth fixing. Shared logins make it impossible to know who actually accessed a given patient record, which works against the access logging a clinic needs under BC PIPA. We help clinics move to individual logins without disrupting day-to-day booking.
How do you handle patient records under BC PIPA?
Encryption at rest and in transit, access logging, role-based permissions, and retention scheduling. Physical therapists follow the CHCPBC records practice standard; chiropractors and registered massage therapists follow the CCHPBC standard. This is general information, not legal advice.
We operate out of a shared gym or open clinic space. Does that affect our network setup?
Yes. Open gym and shared-space clinics need Wi-Fi coverage planning and guest network segmentation that a single-room clinic does not, so patient devices and booking tablets stay off the same network as clinical systems.
Alongside physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage therapy clinics, we support medical clinics, dental practices, podiatry and foot clinics, and dermatology and aesthetics clinics. See the full list on industries we serve.
