Toast, TouchBistro, Lightspeed Restaurant, Square for Restaurants, Clover and Squirrel, kept patched and on their own network segment, separate from kitchen display systems and guest Wi-Fi.

A restaurant, cafe or small hotel runs on systems that cannot afford to be down during service: the point-of-sale lane, the kitchen printer, the booking platform, the guest Wi-Fi that guests complain about the moment it drops. Staff turnover is high and shared logins creep in fast. Hexafusion supports Vancouver restaurants, cafes, small hotels and hospitality groups with POS and property management system network separation, guest Wi-Fi isolation, and fast response when something goes down on a Friday night.

Kitchen display screens and kitchen or bar printers, the most frequent failure points during service and the ones we treat as fast-response priorities.
OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms, DoorDash, Uber Eats and SkipTheDishes, running on tablets we keep updated and secured against account takeover.
Cloudbeds, Mews, RMS, Little Hotelier and Opera Cloud, with channel managers and door-lock integrations supported at the network and device layer.
Captive-portal guest networks, isolated from POS and PMS, sized for the number of rooms or seats.

PCI DSS v4.0.1 applies to card-present payments at the till and to card-on-file stored in a hotel property management system, which carries more scope than a simple swipe-and-go restaurant transaction. We never touch card data ourselves: that stays with your payment processor, payment terminal and PMS vendor. BC PIPA applies to guest registration data and staff records, and requires reasonable security arrangements to protect them. CASL applies to loyalty program and promotional emails and texts, requiring consent, sender identification and an unsubscribe option. Guest Wi-Fi should be isolated from POS and PMS as a baseline network practice. This is general information, not legal advice.
Any AI tool connected to guest contact information or booking history should only see what it needs, reviewed the same way you would review a new employee's access.
Most restaurants, cafes and small hotels land on Managed, our recommended plan, with unlimited remote help desk during business hours, subject to our Fair Use Policy, and onboarding and offboarding support built for high staff turnover. A hotel storing card-on-file or a multi-location group often moves to Secure for onsite support and a stronger security posture. A hotel needing round-the-clock coverage or a larger group needing quarterly review usually fits Enterprise, which adds after-hours response. A single small cafe with light support needs may start on Foundation. See our plans for full details; we never quote plan prices on this page.
Can you fix our POS when it goes down on a busy night?
Our help desk and, on applicable plans, onsite support are built around fast response. We also help set up offline mode where your POS platform supports it, so a connectivity blip does not stop service.
Do you manage our hotel property management system?
We support the network, device and access layer around systems such as Cloudbeds, Mews, RMS and Little Hotelier: guest Wi-Fi isolation, front-desk device support, and integration-point security. PMS application configuration is usually owned by your PMS provider.
Do you touch guest card data?
No. We never handle, store or process card data. Card payments, including card-on-file in your PMS, go through your payment processor and terminal. We secure the network and devices around that flow.
Can you keep guest Wi-Fi separate from our POS and PMS?
Yes. Network segmentation between guest Wi-Fi and the systems that run payments and reservations is a standard part of our setup.
Are servers included in a plan?
No. Server support is an add-on at $300 per server per month including 1 TB of backup, plus $100 per extra TB. Most restaurants and small hotels run few or no on-site servers since POS and PMS platforms are typically cloud-hosted.

Hospitality it support is delivered against a documented baseline aligned to the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security baseline controls and current cyber-insurance underwriting expectations. The same baseline applies whether you run a single cafe or a multi-property hotel group.
